Telecommuting for Employees?

As your business grows, you may need to add an employee or two. And you may not need someone full time. There is a solution: telecommuting. There are some great advantages to telecommuting, and these days, gas prices is one of the advantages.

Here are some questions to ask of your employees before they telecommute:

• Are the job skills conducive to working off site?
• Is the employee self motivated?
• Are they focused?
• Are they okay with limited human contact?
• Are they comfortable enough with technology to telecommute?

Telecommuting works in a lot of professions. My friend, Grant Griffiths, works from home as an attorney and his paralegal telecommutes. He even blogs about it.
